Cream Hill Estates is a small, privately-owned business producing and distributing guaranteed pure oats as rolled oats, oat flour and whole oat kernels (groats).

Our oat products are ideal for the majority of people with celiac disease or wheat sensitivities. Some people with celiac disease may also have an intolerance to the protein in oats.

We offer a purity guarantee that our oats are uncontaminated with wheat, barley, rye, triticale, kamut, spelt and other grains that are closely related to wheat.

Canadian Labelling Regulations for Pure Oats

It has been 6 years since discussions began about labelling pure, uncontaminated oats in Canada. A current Health Canada food labelling regulation, states that "No person shall label, package, sell or advertise a food in a manner likely to create an impression that it is gluten-free food unless the food does not contain wheat, including spelt and kamut, or oats, barley, rye or triticale or any part thereof." Recommendations to change the labelling have been made to Health Canada by individuals and organizations.
